Jason and Joe really came through this year. I didn't know if it would be possible for them to top last year's gift (my dear sweet bicycle, Myrtis) but they came close. Jason got me the computer desk I've had my eye on. I am so thankful for Jason and Joe, they truly are wonderful (at least when they want to be).
Since I couldn't be with my Mom today, I thought I'd share some fun facts about my favorite lady in the world.
1. She only comes up to my chin, but at just a fuzz over 5 feet tall, she's still taller than her Mom!
2. She never lets me feel sorry for myself, even when I get fat.
3. She single-handedly built an emergency shade for our wayward cows in 100 degree weather in high heels and a business suit.
4. She also burned down the backyard.
5. She loves my husband almost as much as I do.
6. She calls me after every single episode of American Idol, without fail.
7. She has tolerated my nonsense for 24 years.
8. She does my laundry when I visit her.
9. She is the best Mama and Meme ever!
10. She rides roller coasters with me!
